Last night I had the chance to go see my former band play! Here are some shots of Panic Attack at Sgt. Peppers. Glenn has taken over guitar duties, and did a great job, actually everyone sounded great! More photos after the jump…
Greg’s still doing double duty as lead singer and drummer. I still haven’t figured out how he’s able to do it, drumming and singing are both very physically demanding activities when done separately, but he put on a killer performance last night.

Knowing the band got me special access for shooting, so I was able to clamp my SB900 flash to their rigging, which is the main light source (centre frame) in these photos of Glenn:

Dragging the shutter slightly to get a sense of motion:

And Greg lit with my remote flash:

All of these shots were done with two fixed lenses, the Nikon 35mm f2.0 and my latest addiction, the Nikon 85mm f1.8.
Congrats to the band on their first show with the new lineup! Everyone sounded great, the mix was perfect, and the guys really gelled together. Great work guys, keep it up!!
